First off, let's discuss our choice to use the GTI steering wheel. We wanted to bring the GTI's sporty feel to our classic Beetle while gaining functions that would be expected in a modern car.
With the GTI steering wheel, we've got media controls built-in and we've even retained the tap shift function for the dual-clutch transmission, giving you full control of your ride. To top it off, the steering wheel comes with tilt and telescopic adjustments, making it a breeze to find the perfect driving position.
Another exciting design decision we made was incorporating the GTI infotainment screen into our VeeDub ReDub project. In this digital age, staying connected is essential, and we wanted our revamped Beetle to be no exception.
By integrating the GTI infotainment screen, we're giving our beloved Beetle Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, making it easy for you to play your favorite tunes and navigate with the same ease you'd find in most modern cars.
