Hey VeeDub ReDub fans! We're thrilled to share a quick update on our journey to transform the classic Beetle with Mk7 GTI components. We've reached an exciting milestone: the first "drive" of our VeeDub ReDub Prototype 1!
Now, we're using the term "drive" loosely here because we had to limit our little adventure for safety reasons. As we haven't installed doors or seat belts yet, going all out on this drive wouldn't have been wise. Additionally, we were restricted to the dead-end road right next to our shop, which means we couldn't really open it up.
Despite these limitations, we wanted to share this exciting moment with you through a video of our first "drive" experience. This sneak peek offers a glimpse into the potential of our VeeDub ReDub project but man we can't wait to really get on it and hit second gear with the pedal to the floor.
